Pont into round 2 of the Shield

Pont made the short trip to Cwmcarn for round 1 of the newly formed WRU Shield competition.

It was a scrappy display with plenty of room for improvement, but 3 tries either side of the break, including a debut score from Karabo Peachley ensured a comfortable win and progress to round 2.

Back to league action this week with Pont welcoming Hollybush to the Welfare.
