Last Sunday, 4 Pontllanfraith players participated in the Welsh Three Peak Challenge to raise money for the Alzheimers Society.
Nathan Meyrick, Jay Williams, Michael Wake and Mark Counsell ascended Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen Y Fan in 18 hours despite appaling conditions and getting lost up Cadair Idris in the fog for two hours.
So far thanks to the generosity of friends, family and Pont supporters the boys have raised over £400.
